Your Guide to Local Library and Local Businesses Reading Programs

Keeping your child reading through the summer is important. The great thing about your local libraries is that they will support you in helping keep your kids reading. Check out these libraries that offer summer reading programs. Where they offer incentives to track and reach reading goals. Sign your kids of all ages up and start reading. Check out these local libraries that are offering the summer reading program. 


Meridian Library - Log on and create an account for each child to track reading hours. Each level of reading gets your reader various prizes. 

Kuna Library - Head to the Kuna library and sign up to track your reading hours. Each level gets you prizes. Anyone who signs up between June 4-9 will receive a free book.  

Boise Library - Log on and create an account for each reader. There are five levels of reading and each level gets your child a prize.

Garden City - Create an account and log your child's reading hours. Collect prizes for your reading at the library.

Nampa Library - Head to the Nampa library and sign up to track your reading hours. Each level gets a prize. 

Caldwell Library - Create an account and log your child's reading hours. Collect prizes for your reading at the library.

Meridian Library - Settlers Park. 5-9PM


June 1st


Caldwell Library - 11-1 PM 

Cole and Ustick Library (Boise Library)  -  12-5 PM

Library! At Bown Crossing (Boise Library) - 12-2:30 PM

Library! At Collister (Boise Library)  - 1-3 PM

Nampa Library - 10AM-1PM

Garden City Library - 1:30PM

Barnes and Noble - Children in grades first through sixth grade can log their reading and get free books after reading and logging eight books. Bring in the filled out log to Barnes and Noble and get your free book (from the list on the log). 

Chuck E Cheese - Download a calendar, have your child read for two weeks, and bring your child into Chuck E Cheese with the calendar and get 10 free game tokens, with purchase of food.
